No miles. No miles in the legs. I started off with a bang, got a loaner powertap wheel, a solid 15 hour block of training and. crap.
It all falls to pieces. The loaner powertap wheel goes kaput, I’ve been sick and injured and off the bike for 2 weeks. Not going to be able to ride for at least a few more days…
Well, check out Jyte. My brilliant programmer flatmate Brian Ellin designed and built it. Go ahead, waste some time.
Remember the sketchy ditch crossings in Longmont, Colorado? Remember my pledge to never race at altitude again? It holds true. I’m too old to acclimatize. I think the sketchy ditches would have been faster with out the bridges.
I am pumped for cyclocross. I am feeling a little stir crazy. The rain is coming down in Portland and the bike shop is getting f’ing busy. I am building a webstore. (read: creating more work for myself) And trying to convince myself that I can squeeze in 20 hours of riding a week on top of a full time job and hanging out with my sweet as ladyfriend.
We are going to Cabo San Lucas in a few weeks do I bring my mountain bike or my road bike?
