Seriously.
The photo of Ian Brown biting the American Classic guy’s finger off is priceless.
Ian and I were in rare form that evening. Let it be known that I blew all $41.00 I made in CXVegas on a “roomservice” pizza. It tasted as bad as that race felt.
Thanks to Gewilli for the following video link:
Now I have to get all serious about the racing.
Europe is going to be bustling with US riders this winter (Baker, Johnson, Powers, Barb Howe).
You won’t see me stealing cigars from fat Belgian spectators and goofing off at a Super Prestige…
Most important US race for me (besides the cx crusades): Granogue.
Your Vegas antics were the highlight of my week!
I just noticed that we have the same cross shoes. Sweet.
Now if I can just get my hands on a Vanilla sometime in this lifetime….
That looked like a lot of fun. Nice cornering technique w/ that uphill foot out and inside pedal down. I’ll try to remember that one next race. Kinda like a Bart Wellens karate kick, only the canned beer gave it more flair. I liked Adam Craig chowing on what looks like a slice of pizza or a bag of chips.
I wish Tim Johnson’s skinsuit had little green circles w/ question marks instead, but oh well.
and, lo, there was shiney goodness for a few brief moments in that city of loss and sin.
pleasure to watch that action. good luck with all the other biker racings.
The people handing out dollar bills was the funniest I have ever seen, I’ll have to try that at the next CX race I do.
