I think I’ve got a bunch of spider bites from somewhere in my travels.
I was a little embarrassed when I stayed at Dan and Jen Powell’s house about the bad leg acne I had…
Well, then I got home on Monday, and my legs got infected and swollen!
Holy crap!
Now I am on anti-biotics and totally sick.
USADA – WADA approved.
Yikes! Heal up quick Molly!
Still racing alpenrose tomorrow?
Sounds like folliculitis. Bummer!
I have to say: Be careful with the Bactrim. If you get a rash stop taking it immediately and have your doctor prescribe something else like Clindamycin. Bactrim has very serious side effects (SJS, TENS) and is in fact not used in many European countries for that reason. IMO, it shouldn’t be USADA-WADA approved.

Get well soon. Don’t worry. It’s a LONG CCX season.
chiggers?
I hear you! I managed to plunge a disc brake rotor deep into my shin a few weeks ago. Went to the hospital and got *glued* back together, which may have been the cause of my future woes. It was healing, albeit slowly. Then I ate shit on a dismount (clogged pedal, methinks) and landed RIGHT. ON. IT.
Wound up in the hospital the next day with a high fever and a disgusting leg. IV antibiotics for me that night… and for 4 more nights afterwards. Now I have to take antibiotic pills for another 10 days that taste like carrots and throw-up. Not cool. Especially not right in the middle of our fairly short CX season. *Sigh*
Get well!
