Been here in the windy mid-west for a full day.
Lots of super fast masters racers. Today, got to see Mo B Roy crushing it in her race!
The course is F A S T. It is also windy as shit and our deep EDGE wheels were quite the handful on the ride to and from the course. Not such a problem on the course though.
I’ve got so much to write about. The last few weeks were are whirlwind (which is becoming typical for my life). I moved in with Pete to a house she bought, then 2 weeks later I’m on the road to Kansas city.
Monday I fly out to Brussels, arriving Tuesday, and then trying to find my legs for the Scheldecross on Friday in Antwerpen. I like that race, it is a good one, slightly technical, a couple rideable sand sections, lots of fast sections, good beer garden.
Besides that, I’m killing time in the hotel before the race.
Feel like I’ve got good legs so, we will see how fast I can go today!
is the icy hand of death enveloping kansas city yet? here in portland, winter killstorm 08 has moved in, and were buried under an inch of snow. well probably all be frozen corpses by the time you get back. im pining for that last eugene psycho cross today, but theres no way im going to put myself at the mercy of the killjoys at odot, who have probably already closed all roads in the state due to our blizzard conditions. i bet itll be awesome. im trying not to think about it. if only this had happenned last weekend!
good luck out there!
