The other Jonathan (the one who socked my coach in the head) started Zolder on a borrowed bike. Which was only slightly more embarrassing than my ride yesterday. I don’t think he made it a full lap. I was friendly to him at the race though I still think hitting people is pretty stupid. As annoying as other racers can be, keep your hands to yourself. You can wrastle after the race.
I felt like I should have said something in person like: “you know Adam is my coach? Thought I should mention it” But I did not feel like dealing with any drama. I guess I feel like Adam is a big boy and can take care of himself. Him getting in a tussle does not really affect me directly.

been watching zolder looking for you after reading your report on cxmag – damn right those are climbs no one would dare include over here – maybe its time they DID. no sense sending people over unprepared, eh? yeah, that course is awesome. ive only ever seen it from the other end of a lens, across seas and continents – and god damn i want to pay money to get my ass kicked on a course like that.
