yeah. YEAH. fucking great attitude to have about it all, molly. it was an awesome race from the spectating end of things - we couldnt have asked for a better finale. both you and babcock rode yourselves to the limit, and the three of you (with tonkin) all rode tactically smart races from your respective angles. and im with you on not attacking when babcock tangled in the tape after the drop-in - i know youd rather lose it like this than win it like that. we always need more of that in bike racing, across the board. when things are that close, only to be snatched away, of course youre going to have that tossing and turning, the replaying of the moment ad nauseum. you can second-guess your tactics all you want, but i dont think you played your cards wrong in the slightest. you were up against a formidable duo, and the only reason you could have had to race differently would have been if youd been able to get out front and ride away - but the lot of you were too evenly matched for it to do anything but come down to the wire, the point of greatest risk, a finish line thats a bit wacky, to be sure.

well all be out for you at usgp, cheering doubly hard, im sure. i dont know if im going to make nationals at all, let alone stay for the entire thing, but believe you me, if i do, youll hear me screaming at you :)

I hate to say it but way it played out is a better story--of course I have no business saying that...but your story is a true cyclocross war story. One for the history books. Obvious this is an outside perspective and I hope it doesn't come across in any way other than supportive.

Winning is winning and every race has a winner. Your story has caught a lot of attention around the country. Sorry but I don't know who sean is...but I know who molly cameron is.

Not every race has such a human dramatic performance.

Fight!

I'm sure the moment will be replayed many, many times in your head - that is normal. You're a competitor!

But, the attitude and manner in which you are handling this 'loss' IS first class. And it will not be lost on others.

Great ride...great effort....great loss.

Good luck ripping their legs off the next time!
